i surrender who i’ve been for who you are.
for nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart.
if i had only felt how it feels to be yours.
well, i would have known what i’ve been living for all along.
what i’ve been living for.
life don’t just always fold up neat,
sadness will come in different sheets.
we’re beat, beat, beat, asleep on feet.
goodnight, night, night let’s calm this fight
Oh my God I see how everything is torn in the river deep
And I don’t know why I go the way
Down by the riverside.
(agnes obel - riverside)
denver gets about 300 days of sunshine a year.
pittsburgh, i’m afraid does not.
BUT, ironically i find myself missing some of those cloudy days. and on the few days we get them here in CO, i find myself with a big smile on my face.
it’s like a piece of home. <3 PGH.
